A PERFECT DAY FOR ME IN FOUNTAIN HILLS

To drive to the dry cleaners on Palisades while our lovely fountain is showing off its unique beauty is one of the pleasures I experience living in this great town—not many towns can have this as a centerpiece and I get to enjoy it every day!

Running errands is another pleasure—“why” you may ask—

because just about everything is nearby.  A bonus is that I have yet to go into any shop or business and not be greeted with a welcoming smile.  I have lived here about 18 months (my third time in Arizona) and see no reason to leave.

A perfect day here for me probably includes a run to the supermarket and to a shop or two.  If I am lucky, it is time for me to go to the library and that is a joy!  Then I go home and take the dogs to the end of my street to a doggy park.  I live on a cul-de-sac and we are blessed to have this little park at the end of the street.  The dogs love it—it has grass!

I live alone so a lot of what I do is at home.  I refurbish doll houses, read, work (?) at the computer and live a quiet life.  I have joined the Senior Center and have enjoyed some of its many programs.  Mainly, I enjoy the serenity of life in Fountain Hills—a real plus and a real change from some of the large cities I have lived in.

Some might say my life is dull—ha!  It isn’t dull, just my kind of life!

Yu’all comes as we say in the South—it’s great!

Sounds lovely! I recently moved to Fountain Hills and absolutely love the area! Where is your favorite dog park? That sounds fun and I need a nice place to walk the dogs!
